Who's your number one senator for this upcoming election?

I would choose re-electionist senator joker arroyo. The person is just straight and very intelligent. As for richard gomez and cesar montano, I believe they are more capable running in local government office than jumping right into the senate.

i will exercise my right in choosing the best leaders this coming election,and for me i will vote all from opposition eam..my first candidate would be Chiz Escudero..I don't want to vote Montano and Gomez because i believe they are not capable of lawmaking and senatorial jobs,they are only capable in showbiz acting.

Hmm, i dont have a number 1 senator in my mind yet... though im quite intrigued regarding richard and cesar montanos would be status in the coming elections. I really dont know if they have the capacity to handle political conflicts and i dont wanna judge them just because their actors and because they could just act their way to the debates and campaigns and the voting process as well. The are not only actors lng nmn.. they are also filipino citizens who have the capacity just like any other filipinos- to love and care and serve our country. I just hope they wont be just ACTING when they get voted though..

I would definitely vote for joker arroyo, kiko pangilinan, and manny villar. As for richard gomez and cesar montano they should stick to showbiz. or at the very least they should start their political careers at a lower level and not set their sights on the top positions.

number ONE??? the truth is most of them that i will vote are pasang awa. i won't even have a magic 12. to have 6 or 8 would be hard. im' still looking and studying a relatively unknown party that was formed. you can check http://www.kpkcommongood.blogspot.com/ to know them more. a lot of columnist of major papers have written about them in a very positive tone. and i'm inclined to vote for them. regarding the two other celebrities, i am more i favor of cesar montano. Why? when it comes to movies, his a has a message of awakening us to do something. not just watch the movie and enjoy. he is saying something for us to think about. of course, this speaks of his last few movies, primarily, Rizal. come to think of it, to come up with those movies, he has to go months of training before the film can start shooting. what i mean is, he is one of those artist in the local scene who has intellectual capacity. not to mention, his achievement as director.

I choose Allan Peter Cayetano as my number 1 senator slate. Because of his actions against FG. I think Richard Gomez and Cesar Montano will not do it in the senate... if ever they will win this election, they said that they will study political science after they win the elections.

Both movie actors don't have the capability to be in the Senate. Just like Jinngoy, Bong, Lito and others, their performance will be below at par with the standards. Not unless the Senate wants in-house embers to entertain them, then I'd probably change my mind. My number 1 will be joker Arroyo -- the dragon boy. And i will also go for MIGUEL ZUBIRI -- a very intelligent and environment-friendly man. As the debate on global warming in the international media is now raging, we need Migz in the Senate to craft laws to lessen the effects of global warming.

Personally, my number 1 bet would be Chiz Escudero...I am not related to him whatsover, but I like his being so idealistic, a little activist. He is not the traditional politician, Number 2 would be Peter Cayetano, but for Richard Gomez and Cesar Montano, c'mon! they are like Vic Magsaysay, the candidates of the Kapatiran Party and KBL...they will just make the voters become confused and waste their votes

I do not have a number one senator yet, but I will most probably vote for Francis Pangilinan, Manny Villar, Chiz Escudero, Joker Arroyo, Allan Peter Cayetano, and Sonia Roco. I believe the five men are not corrupt. They stand on their principles. They speak up when they believe that something is wrong. I also believe that Mrs. Roco will not be corrupt. I voted for her husband in the 2004 elections. As for Richard Gomez and Cesar Montano, I would definitely not vote for them. It is not because they are from the showbiz world. There are many good actor-politicians like Vilma Santos, Herbert Bautista, and Anjo Yllana. I just do not think they will be good senators. They should run for local offices first. And I have never liked Richard Gomez. I see him as a very arrogant guy.

MY number one senator would be Chiz Escudero.Have you bothered to look at his eyes? Gawwd, he looks sleepy, and he's still spouting sensical things. Ever wonder what HE COULD DO or SAY if he is wide awake?

My bet is chiz escudero. he will be number one or at least fall on the top 3. Richard and Cesar... i think they are just making fools out of themselves. Surely they wont win. Being famous doesnt mean they are fit for the position.

I have nothing against Richard Gomez & Cesar Montano. They are good actors. But when it comes to congress I will think twice if I'll put their names in my precious ballot. I believe they should have an indepth knowledge of our laws and being popular alone will do them no good. I just wish that they really have a genuine heart in helping our country prosper.
