I cannot believe this happened! We have to come up with 100.00 by morning!!

I am really good about keeping track of our checking account and bills etc. Well we knew that we were not going to have alot of money this week so my hubby and me figured our bills and he deposited the money into the bank etc. Well just now I logged into our bank account to see if everything was all right and it said minus 100.00 as our balance so I went to the account list and there was a check that had went through for about 65.00 dollars from about 2 months ago!!! How did that even happen. Why did it take so long for them to deposit it into their account?? I had deleted it when I wrote it ,but I guess because it took so long and with us being tight money wise the last month it snuck in. So now all of our checks i wrote thrusday bounced!! yuck ! I do not know what to do??

Not sure why you would 'delete'? that 65 dollar check. Did you speak to the person/company that you wrote it too and delete then?
Our car repairman also will deposit a check from us in a month or so. I make it a habit to pay him cash when I can. Still checks can be deposited up to a year later I think. Hope you have savings or something put away to take care of this.
Did you checks actually bounce? or did they get paid and the bank charged you. That is what our bank would do. Creditors stay happy we do not. Bank is happy too. Sorry your teamwork did not catch this. Hope you can put the bandaid on and not do this again. Patience and communitation would have saved you in this case.

It is better to check your account yourself in the bank so that everything will be accounted for. There a possibility that your deposits has not been updated yet online.
