I'm in Norway. No budding here for a while yet - good thing my christmas cactus is in bloom!

At least you have the catus maybe you could start a sweet potato in wateer they are really pretty when they bloom in the window. After the weather breaks I put them out too grow. Yikes you are where it is very cold for such a long time. But soon my friend you will be walking in the woods and the cold will be a memory for next time. where is your country? We have 4 seasons here we are just getting through winter here and we have snow and ice storms and rain the north wind comes from the artic.Cold air and then spring it rains and the air is warm and comes from the south.Making everything green and lush then summer it gets really hot and sometimes it is still 100 at mid night here. The fall comes and the cool crisp air makes all the green die and go dormant the leaves on the trees turn colors of orange brown gold and red then as the air gerts colder the rain starts and all the leaves fall off and it is fall. My favorite is spring though as it is so pleasant and everything grows and looks very pretty.In the spring and fall we have tornados I do not like them some have winds around 160 miles perr hour and destroy everything in their path. it is like hurricane season but ours are just wind some with rain.

I live in the middle of 20 acres of timber I have alot of leaves to burn each year. Last year we had burn bans so I got behind in my burning this year I am starting early I try to get as many leaves as I can gone before the snakes wake up as we have copperheads and rattlers who love the leaves. As I was raking this morning I saw 2 daffodils that are ready to open and one tulip. HURRAY they will be so beautiful in a day or two. I feel for you and hope the snow goes away quickly. My daffodils are budding already and roses are getting leqaves I hope they are not to early. I cannot wait till they all bloom they aare so pretty and make me feel good. My daughter has always said look Mommy who came to see us when they bloom. She is 15 and still says it . HAve a great day. Where are you I am in Oklahoma.
