A young doctor threw his own mother out of the house the day after she transfered ownership of the house to him. She works as a cleaner to put him thru medical school and he threw her out because his wife told him to.
What a JERK right?

wow that is cold.
sounds like him & his wife are some jerks.
I could never disrespect my mother that way. I mean, when I was a teenager I did talk to her like crap but now that I am older our relationship is alot better.. and even if it wasnt I would NEVER throw her out of my home. she took care of me, she was and is the only one who helps me when I need it. she is the only one who listens to me when I have a problem and she is the only one who tries to be there for me. and she busted her butt every single night going to work at General Motors where she hated it but she did it to provide me a good life. so I have sooo much love for her. obviously this mother had alot of love for her son to sign a house over to him. its sad that he repaid her that way.. If I were him and my partner suggested I do something like that I would get a divorce.
their both losers..lol

Real losers! They threw her out just because she wants to continue to be a cleaner. My mum used to sleep out in the hall just so when I came home late she can open the door for me and not wake up the rest. Yet, I can be quite meam to her at times. Why is it that we are more mean to the ones we love most.

I think we are meanest to the ones we love most because we are the closest to them..
do you understand what I mean?
we are more open with them and feel more free to speak our minds and say how we feel, and with others we are not so close to we bite our tongues and hold back how we feel..
when you spend lots of time with people I think its easier to put your frustrations on them..

No comments on the character of the doctor, however he is not one I would want to consult if I have any illness.
But to answer your Question... "Would you throw your mother out of the house".
The answer is no, I may not have a fantastic relationship with my mother. She loves me, and I love her. She may not be the peer group or role model in my life. But she the one who gave me life, endured years of hardship and pain.
Why do we hurt those we love? Sometimes it is due to the way we communicate, tone, the way we deliver our message etc.
Sometimes it's the way we take things for granted, sometimes it's our EGO (we tend to get even later or immediately).
There are many reasons why we hurt the people we love. But one thing is for sure, there will come a day when we will look back and realized what we have really lost. (It's better to look back every now and then...)
For this young doctor of yours, I hope he will be able to forgive himself and his wife for the moment of stupidity.
