MyLot.com trimming membership.

I noticed that there are almost 74K members at mylot.com. But how is that there are not many new discussions that are of quality like mylot's requirements? Is it that more people are responding that creating quality discussions? Maybe, I suggest MyLot.com should impose a more stringent rule. For example, members got to create a minimum of 5 new discussions per week and respond to 25 discussion posts per week. This is only an example. Only active members get paid. Inactive members will not get paid and too prolonged absence from posting result in membership deletion. This is just my two sense of thoughts with no offense meant to any party.

There are thousands of discussion and many of the discussion have no responses at all, so what you are saying is just as a newbie try to join as many as communities then there will be no time for you to respond to all discussions and the idea of posting 5 discussion will seems to bea dream only, if you join many communities, if you are a memeber of only few communities then there will be no new discussio for you, i have never got time to respond to all the responses of all the communities i joined, i only respond to only few discussion and leave it, and go to other commuinty and responds to few there, and when everi feel like starting a meaningful discussion then only i will start a discussion.

I have not joined any other forum so far. I would like to concentrate at mylot.com for the time being. I am just getting into the feel of it and it is good. The earnings I get may be little but much new things have been learned here.

Some of the people joining here are part time only. Besides some of those are students and other are working as well. I think Mylot should not imposed such law because it will surely cause problems and members would be in fury if they get deleted when they do come back. Some of those people are busy. I had a friend who seldom comes here because she has a job to attend to besides that what makes Mylot a nice community. It has no strict rules to follow.

You respond very positively. I appreciated your views. I only hope to be able to read more quality posts that can enhance my knowledge. Still, one can't really complain about mylot being rather easy in this issue.
