A question about referrals

I did a search for this and came up with nothing. So I thought I would ask. Each day I look at my referrals to see how they are doing. But I've noticed some odd things. One, I've noticed that some who have posted still says $0.00 next to their name. Even after a few days, so it's not like we are waiting for mylot to update. First, is that dollar amount the amount I have earned from them, or the amount they have earned? And why is still showing zero? Is that because they have earned so little that my 25% is almost zero as well?
Second, I also notice that even though they may have a, let's say a 2, next to their name. When I go to their profile I can see that they have clearly posted more. Why is that behind to? Anyone else notice this.
And my last question. If referrals get referrals and they earn 25% off that, do I then make 25% off my referrals money. In other words, does it keep going or do I just make off what my referral posts?

Hey hi!!...well friend, i also have here only one referal, and that is also very inactive, i think just joined as of i said so, and not doing much here on mylot, morever nowdays even not logging in, infcat priblem is, my referal not being able to beleive in thing that, one can get paid for posting our own opinions to discussion here, well best luck and happy earning!!

I'll try to clear some of your doubts:
The amount next to each of your referrals = amount that you earn from a referral, not the full amount earned by that referral. If the amount is 0 it means that that referral is innactive... as unfortunate as this can be...
The question with the number next to the user name actually bugged my a little, because that number should be equal with the total number of posts that was made. Considering that some of the discussions were deleted (which is happening from time to time, based on broking the rules), the number should decrease from both places.
Finally, you can earn - indirectly - from unlimited level of referrals. Assuming that your referral has 10 referrals and he's earning let's say 10$/month from them - you earn 2,5$ from that referral, doesn't really matter how he was made his money, by himself or helped by his network, you earn 25% from his earning.
