There is an aquaintance of mine who had recently won the lottery. Yes its hard to believe that this is not a scam. I am happy for this family particularly they were in dire need of the money like the rest of us. Now the family won't be needing to work no more and could do whatever the heck they want. The secret has to remain a secret in order to keep people constantly lining up at the front door or getting constant phone calls asking for money. This is a true blessing in disguise. Does anyone else know an aquaintance that this has happend to?

Winning the lottery is a curse in disguise rather than a blessing. Sure you have all the money in the world and don't need to work a day in your life...but it's like what you just said. People will be contacting you for money (business, friends, family, etc.) and worst of all, you won't have any spark in life. To me, you have to work and if you have all this money from not working, you'll feel useless to the world. No purpose at all. I told myself that if I were to ever win the lottery, I'd keep my current job b/c I LOVE waking up and having a routine. I'd feel lost waking up and thinking "what can I spend my money on today?" Now on the other hand, if you work for a boss who treats you like gum under the desk, THEN I'd say quit your job and maybe start your own business. For me, I'd open up my own tanning business if I were to ever win the lottery and if things got too hectic at the tanning salon THEN I'd quit my job lol.

on my personnal experience, the biggest money iv'e won in a lottery is USD416.00, not big enough but it's a big help in my education. but if ever i will win the jackpot, i will just remain silent
