Who cares about the Oscars?

Lets face it ... this year there are not many big movies up for grabs. Who really cares about a bunch of people who don't have to work for a living and live in their own rarified air?
They can't relate to middle America anymore because they're out of it.
I'll be watching something else tonight, how about you?

You're right about the Oscars..I wasn't planning on watching them really, till I found out Ellen D'Generes was hosting. I like her, she's a hoot, I think she's still pretty much got her feet grounded. I'll probably be on myLot while I'm watching it in the background. It can be amusing..some of those people take themselves way too seriously, and act very foolish. They are so caught up in the illusionary world they live in, and themselves. In the past, in certain societies that were around along time ago, actors were actually the lowest on the totem pole..they are considered low class.

I dont think anyone still watches the oscars.. its kinda like the pro bowl... why is it still on tv... who cares!
