what is the purpose of writing a one word response? i dont see why people do it as it will only eran them a minimal amount and isnt worth anybodys time, theirs or ours???

sure megs, how ever when you add the minimal amuont with another minimal amount, it begins to grow and grow and grow. It is not a wasteing anybodys time. So hey where on mylot its worth something.

The minimal amounts and short answers might add up, but longer and more thought out answers add up more quickly. The one-worded responses are often... No, nevermind. Like megs, I just don't see the point.

Hello and thanks a mint.Perhaps you can place a bet in the melbourne cup. Hey i will ask you this then as a senerio:- if you purchased an item to later sell hopeing to make more than you paid for, would you consider it gambling?

Although scratch tickets and lotteries are different than horse racing, and poker machines, it is still a form of gambling. Many people get hooked on them, and some often have to enter therapy for gambling because of it.

Hey hello, Thanks for that response. So I suppose its all a risk/chance toget a bit more than you put in. But then what if we say as a senerio:- would you call buying an item too sell again hopeing to get a price (more than you paid) is that gambling as well?

Well yes it is gambling and people get addicted to it. It is spending money, hoping to win more.

I would still consider both of these things to be a form of gambling as with both you spend money to try to "win" a substantial amount more money. Whats your opinion?

Yeah you could be right there megs. But others prefer to differ from that point.

I agree with megs and others that it is a form of gambling because you're spending money to try to win more money and that's really what gambling is, right? It might be a small amount of money, but it's still money you're spending to try to get more.
