Is it O.K. to flirt with people casually?

It seems like you can't go somewhere without someone checking you or your significant other out. Like someone calling you sweetie or honey. Which personally drives me crazy. I feel that people forget to admire the ones they're with. Guys are the worst at it, it seems. Its funny to see guys checking out my wife until they notice shes pregnant. Then there look totally changes. Anyway I think it is so wrong to flirt. What do you think?
