I run a forum mainly aimed at Irish women. A lot of the posters are 'regulars' and are a great bunch, but I'm still trying to attract new members to the site but can't seem to encourage new members in!
Any tips would be great.
Thanks

Well I guess if you have a Blog, you could put a link to your site on that. Or if any of your regular members have a Blog, they could do it for you. Or depending on where you live, you could put an advert in the local newspaper, or maybe try to get an interview with a local radio station to talk about your site, and it's aims, and try and attract new members. Good luck wth it!

And I guess you could put a link to the site here. You're not asking for money, so I don't think they would consider it spam or breaking the rules, and I'm sure there are other Irish members here.

Hi Rosie, I don't have a blog but a few of the members have added it to their 'stumbled upon' profiles and linked back from other sites. The Radio thing is a good idea, we got a mention on a national radio stations 'great sites to visit' during drive time Friday night but the member list has grown by a whole 5 people since lol.
Thanks for the tips, I might contact the local paper during the week, there offices are only down the road from me :)
