why uncooked vegetables are healthier than cooked veggies.

Raw foodists believe that our body was not designed to eat cooked food. the food that has been over-processed lacks vitamins, minerals and enzymes as well --however these are present in abudance in raw food. so cooking food above 105 C destroys most of the nutrients, cooked food even blocks intestine and colons leading to diseases such as cancer and diabetes.Raw food is simply the natural way to nourish your body

am not sure but it could be coz by cooking you change the structure of the vitamines and renders it useless...or that the vitamines goes out of the veg and are in the boiled water so if you eat the veg and pour out that water you lose the vitamins... am not sure...perhaps some cookchef or a doc can back my theory or provide us with the correct answer. ~MSD~
