eragon vs harry potter

I think harry potter is better than eragon although i like eragon too. Harry potter has some humor which makes it more fun to read or to watch than eragon which is more serious.

Both Harry Potter and Eragon are beautiful book. Reading any one engrosses you and makes to feel their worlds. Magic connects both and I am waiting for the final parts of both.

I like both. I don't know why Eragon didn't recieve as much plublicity. I think it's just as good as Harry Potter! At first I did not think I would like Eragon, I thought it would be for boys. But I really ended up liking the story! If only I could finish Eldest.

I don't read books but the script writer for the movie eragon did an awful job which made me sleep half of the movie. No offense cooltito. Cheers,... Harry Potter takes my vote.

I do believe that Eragon is a much better book than Harry Potter. It had plenty of everything and it could be rivaled to the lord of the rings

The only reason people compare both these books is because both involve magic. The fact is Eragon and HP are somewhat quite different... Eragon is more childish.....one sided..... HP is somewhat more open......there are lots of char. and its lets you actually think.... Well wat do u know....I'm contradicting myself. I just said you cant compare them and then i sit and compare them. Man I'm really messed up.... End Point : I like both of them but in thier own different way.I din't think I could choose

Based off of the books I have to say Eragon is better, it is just simple but not overly basic. If you are going off movies I don't like either the Harry Potter movies or the Eragon movie, but Harry Potter is a little but better movie wise.
