Alright, so for those of you who have not heard of "Hoodia" it is a new dietary supplement which was discovered a few years ago in Africa. It contains powdered "Hoodia" cactus, and it comesi n pure pill form, and has been used in diet pills such as eNvy and Zantrex. The cactus was originaly used by nomadic tribes because it completely obliterates all appetited for 12+ hours. They used to it get by while migrating to a new food area. So now Hoodia is being presented in the Western world as a weight loss pill. The bottles of "pure Hoodia" actually come with the warning "remember to eat regularly" on the side. So my stance on the question of "Does Hoodia endorse Eating Disorders" is yes. The pill takes away thr desire to eat any food at all, which is what Anorexics strive to do. It makes fasting for weightloss much easier, and I think it is a dangerous idea, to say the least. What do you guys think? -ML

I lost really well on hoodia. When I'd kept the weight off for about 18 months, I spent quite somee time in the hospital with severe pneumonia. When I was up and around again, I went back yo hoodia and it had no effect at all!
