what are you giving up for lent i know whatever i decide it will be a long 40 days!
I am considering chocolate as it is my biggest weakness or should be thinking along different lines like giving up something i really enjoy doing?
what are you giving up?

I've never given anything up for Lent .. I'm not religious enough to think it's an important act .. and I'm not superstitious enough to worry about not doing it either ..
If I did something for Lent it wouldn't be 'giving something up' .. but adding something useful to my days .. like helping others or tackling a big problem .. I just don't see how stopping doing something that you'll only start doing again after the '40 days' has any value ..

Wow I take my hat off to you (if I wore one) I could never ever give up chocolate, too much of a sacrifice! Thankfully I am not religious so I don't recognize lent and so I don't have to abstain from anything! 40 days is too long, life is too short, why give up a pleasure?
