Do you ever use different coloured mascara?

By that i mean colours other than the bog standard black and brown.
There are quite a few companies do different shade of mascara out there now, such as purples, blues (not just navy, bright blues), pinks, greens etc. So have you ever used any of these sorts of colours, and would you ever consider doing so? If not, why not?
I have used purple, blue and pink mascara before. Purple looks especially nice on me, teamed up with lilac eyeshadow, as it goes nice with my green eyes. Blue is also a nice colour, i like to wear it in the summer with pale blue or silvery eyeshadows. Pink is something i'd wear less often. I guess becuase i'm still quite young (23) i can get away with wearing these colours without looking too daft.
What;s your view on coloured mascaras?

i only ever wear black. What does pink actually look like? DOes it just tint your lashes, or does it make hem really pink?

I have tried green and purple mascara as I thought it would bring out my green eyes. They looked ok, but i still prefer my black mascara. I just feel that I won't get enough use out of the colored mascaras as I won't wear them everyday. Meanwhile, I will wear my black mascara everyday, so I know its worth its purchase price (which can get steep).
