I think this was the best Super Nintendo game I played. It has the best story and the best special moves. The thing that went on between Marle and Crono was very nice. It sort of make you want to find out what happens to them in the side and in big you want to finish the entire story and solve the problem of mankind. I would like Nintendo Wii or Playstation 2 or 3 remake this game into super nice graphics. I would happily play this game over again. I really miss the good old Super Nintendo games. Even in today's RPG's like Final Fantasy, I realize they they try to extend the game putting in stupid fillers that does not go with the story and you can't skip it. I'm guessing they have 2 hours, I will be at a point that is very interesting and then after that it would be back to a filler.

Chronotrigger rocked. I had fun with the remake for ps1 but I would love it if they had it beefed up for the ps3. I know that I would get it. I have passed that game over 15 times. Got to love the new+.

I agree. If they ever make it for PS3, I will buy the PS3 and the game. The game is just too good. I haven't played the PS1 version, but seen there was video footage, which was pretty cool. I did not get to see those when I played the Super Nintendo version. Gotta love squaresoft for their games.

the game play for the ps1 is all the same. The only difference is in the game there are have the videos. They are cartoons like dragon ball z. I find it to be very cool.

CT totally rocked! I was totally shocked to have Chrono, the HERO, DIE! OMGF! Granted, in FF3, where Kefka destroys the World, giving the World Of Ruin (as opposed to Wolrd Of Balance), was intense. But to have the main guy, die, woah! The only thing that disappointed me was some of the endings, in that I wanted Frog to turn back to Glen, but still allow Magus/Janus to live. I actually wrote a cheesy fanfic about it. Plus, I loved the Dual and Tripple Techs! Woooo!

They gotta remake all these great games onto PS3 or XBOX 360. It's going to look so nice with the super improve visual CGI technology.

I also like Chrono Trigger. I like the twist. And the concept of time travel is cool. Another is the combination of abilities is a great strategy.

This game is actually the first game that made me feel weird in a good way though. The part where misfortune has happen to Crono and you can feel the bond between Marle and Crono. That was just great.

I love Chrono Trigger, which you could probably surmise by my username. My brother and I used to play the Super Nintendo version all of the time. I have the PS1 version now, and it is odd to see the new cut scenes. Someone mentioned that they looked like Dragonball Z, that is because the guy that designed the characters on Dragonball Z also designed the characters on the original format of Chrono Trigger (hence Crono's haircut). He came back to animate the cut scenes for the PS1 version. The storyline is great, and I love watching all of the different endings. Knowing what will happen does not ruin gameplay at all. I love this game so much, in fact, that when my PS2 would no longer read the disc, I bought a new PS2 so I could play Chrono Trigger again. I agree with you about the special moves, especially if you have several gold studs. Luminare is the most awesome spell ever!

Oh yeah Luminare has really is the best spell ever. I should go buy a copy of the PS1 version and play it again. I feel guilty playing games I play before. Seem like a waste of time, but really do want to play those favorite games over again.

I love it too, and certainly its one of the best gamess out there. The story is superb. I've played the PS1 version, but there are no differences, just a few video footages on some scenes... About the fillers, depends on the game... The best is when they do those side quests, I'll try to play all of them.

It would be great if they can remake that game for the PS2 or PS3 with the incredibly nice graphics.

I missed playing Chrono Trigger. Indeed, this is the best classic RPG. It's amazing how they created a superb game on an 8bit console. I still never stop playing this game over and over on my PC using a SNES Emulator. I so much love the Chrono Trigger music especially the Far Off Promise and Singing Mountains. :)

I really liked this game. I didn't play it on the SNES, but I do have the PSOne version. I'm still trying to figure out how this story and Chrono Cross is related lol.

Hell yeah! That was a great game! Super Nintendo had some great RPG games including this one, Super Mario RPG, Earthbound and Final Fantasy 2 and 3. I have very fond memories of this game. I wish Square-Enix would rerelease the sequel Chrono Cross on Nintendo DS, since I never got to play that one.
