I grew up Pentecostal but have found more peace in being spiritually oriented. Are there others of you who can feel the difference?

I believe so, I call my self spiritual but I don't think I am religious, I believe there is a spiritual connection between us and a spiritual world what that is we will have to wait to find out but I myself have connection with any religion.

Religion is a belief system based on a specified organized way of thought. Spirituality is belief not based on any organized religion and personal to the person holding that belief. There is a huge difference. I'm atheist, I have neither. I don't subscribe nor believe in any religion, and have zero respect for organized religion as a whole. I don't have spirituality in terms of god or gods, because it simply makes no sense to me. However, even as an atheist, I have more respect for a persons individual spirituality than for someone who simply subscribes to a religion and follows along. No offense intended to anyone .. just the best wording I could come up with at the moment.

None taken, I don't judge anyone and what they understand to be truth for them.

Are you saying that being Pentecostal is not spiritually oriented. I have been Pentecostal for many years and have always considered Pentecostals as being very spiritually oriented.

No I am not saying that I'm asking what others thoughts are on the subject so that I can understand more.
