What would you do if you couldn't stand your friends boyfriend. He isnt a bad person, and takes good care of my friend, but he's weird and I immensly dislike his personality. He's always complaining, and is rude to pretty much all new people he meets. Is it that big of a deal?

I am just wondering how your friend is taking this if you're seeing a different side of her boyfriend. I guess it's better to be civil if your friend really likes him. In the end, it is your friend who will be dealing with him everyday. :)

Like someone else said, you can't do anything. You said yourself that he treats her well, and that's what's important - that he's good to her and makes her happy. You don't have to like his personality and you can tink he's weird all you want - you're not the one going out with him. I'm sorry if I sound harsh but I've seen friends go through this before and it's always really upsetting for everyone involved. The best thing for you to do is just deal with it and be nice to him, try your best to get along, if only for the sake of your friend. No one wants their friends and their boyfriends to dislike each other.

you can't do anything. She chose him and you just have to sit this one out so to speak. It probably won't last, but until they break up you can just not hang out with them as much. Try to be the friend that your friend sees alone. All friends need someone like that.
