why doesnt my ex partner move on

my ex and i broke up on bad terms, i went out one nite with my friend, and we went on a internet bash, which a company held 2a get 2 gether so all the online chatter can meet each other, it was a great nite i was chatting 2 a person on the site and when we met and the party 1 thing led 2 another, so you can guess what happend next, any how, i think at the time me and my boyfriend have fallin out, but then got back together agai, but i couldnt lie 2 him any longer and he just flip he went crazy, was ready 2 start a big arugment and even a big bust up we where none stop fight and screaming at each other, even at 1 point we wanted 2 kill eachother, had 2 even scare him a few time with the police, but he has foregiven me and viser vs, well he know im in a long term relationship and he is trying his best to reck it, so when my partner is home i turn of my msn in case he come on it and starting chatting to my ex,and tell all. now he is blackmailing me, saying for me too meet him, but their is no way im going their he text me and even phone me he just doesnt want to back off what does one do as im going mental with his nasty way
