how to change the color in hiar, dress?

i learn photoshop by outodidac, till this moment i still have problem to change the color im hair, dress and so on, the place i like to change except back ground i can cahang backgournd color.
can any ones help me?

A good way to do it is to turn the whole image black and white. And then add additional layers on top of the background layer. Set the additional layers to the mode "Color Dodge" and then color. So if you need to color your hair a different color, use the brush and on the new layer color it say, brown, and then set it to color dodge and it should work. That's just one way of doing it--the most common way, but there are definitely tons of other ways to do it. You just have to be more experienced at photoshop in order to figure out other original ways of doing it.

mamatika, get the magic tool (the icon that looks like wand) then point to the hair. If there is the place you want to change the color, go ahead and change it by giving the preference color you want. Wish you goodluck!

I like to change the colors of hairs, selecting the hair and then going to Adjust/Hue/Saturation, put colorize and change until reach a good color.
