i think cats and dogs fight with each other since their body language is so different.. for example if a dog wags its tail they are happy, but if a cat wags its tail its unhappy annoyed or irritated ect. so i just think its all boils down to the body language that is the problem.

Your opinion any good buthowever a cat hislive better than dogs because the cat can sleep in a springbed with owner's but a dog must to his house alone, okey ! what your opinion

I disagree with the posters comment about sleeping arrangements. My animals sleep wherever they wish, and NONE are outdoor animals, other than when I happen to walk or allow my Wolf/Chow to be out, doing what nature demands. I would no sooner subject a dog to a DOG HOUSE outside, than I would expect the animal to consider that for me.

With no real offense, your Q is confusing. FAITH??? Anyway I have 4 species as pets, all natural enemies in context yet all cohabitate and Relate to each other.
With no offense to an animal, I suspect they make choices based on instincts and a Cat for eaxmple, especially in the Wild, would have little need or desire in engage with a canine.
"Play" is also relative, and since animals are territorial, I suspect that they don't consider interacting strictly as PLAY, but more a test, of tolerances, space, acceptable issues each can endure.
