number of chances one could have

How many number of chances one could give to someone who did them wrong? the maximum or the least. i do believe in second chances. some say its sweeter the second time around. but why second time? are'nt there third time? or has it gone bitter after the second time around?

I think it depends on what the person did to you. I am a strong believer in second chances, but if the person burned you beyond forgivness, then they don't deserve a second chance.

i guess so its how or on what degree that person did to you. in terms of relationships, if both parties are willing to take chanches, i guess it doesnt just stop from second chance. as long as both parties are willing to compromise and meet in the middle.. screw the number of chances you've given to each other.. LOL
