Ive been in a relationship for 5 years now. My boyfriend and I were planning to get married since last year but due to unavoidable circumstances we opted to settle down this year. However until now we still dont go into planning the details of our wedding. My boyfriend prefers to go into it when everything is ready especially the finances. I have plans of working abroad because I feel bored with my career here and it sucks me with the income that I get. I am confused what if the opportunity comes and I have to leave and work for years? What will happen to us? Should I give way and wait till I get married or leave and get married until I come back? We are not getting younger anymore.

personally i would choose my partner and getting married over my career and job everytime...as really the one you love with aways be there for you....but your jobs will come and go

It really depends on how important you think marriage is for a relationship. Some people could be with there lover forever and never get married. Others find the marriage part very important. You need to figure out what you and your husband think of marriage and if it is necessary right now.

Think about it carefully, we can only give advises of different sorts but it is solely yourself who could decide.. Consider this, long distance relationships most usually dont work out.
