Have you been in a hurricane, earthquake, or snow storm?

I have been in all three. I have been in 3 hurricanes in the time I have lived in Florida. I also experienced earthquakes in California. I spent a few years in Michigan also where I encountered some very nasty snow storms. The reason I have moved around so much was my father was in the Air Force. I haven't experienced a tornado yet and I hope I never have to experience one. So have you been in any of these types of natural disasters?

i experienced typhoon in our place, it was early in the morning when the radio announces the arrival of typhoon. the roofs started flying all over i can see it myself, our house almost half were damaged roofless and debris scattered. we were all wet and praying that this stop to save our lives. the following day, the radio announces that our city was heavily devastated, we had no electricity for a month. it was a blue christmas for us.

Wow that sounds like it was pretty scary. During one hurricane I encountered I witnessed my neighbors shed get picked up in the air and thrown against a large wooden fence. The houses in the neighbor seemed like they withstood the winds rather well, and most of the damage was downed tree's and power lines. Thanks for telling the story. That would be a terrible way to have christmas, but im sure you made the best of it.

I've been in earthquakes, tornados, and snowstorms. I used to be terrified of tornados when I was a kid. I've also had experience with fire, floods and mudslides, though my personal place of residence wasn't affected.

I have experienced a mild earthquake in Central India...It was in the middle of the night, i heard unusual noice, dint realise the ground was shaking. Everyone in the room got up and started running out, but i dint realise it was an earthquake. Only after it was over did i realise that it was indeed an earthquake. Thankfully no damage was done...

Oh blessed you creed22. I've only been in earthquake. And not hoping to experience and of the hurricane nor the snow storm.
Although where I used to live had snow and where I live now is rarely snow. I heard about hurricane, but I just don't want to imagine myself being in that situation (experiencing hurricane).
I had lots of earthquake when I was in Japan. One or two were pretty bad. But we could manage.

i think i've felt 2-3 earthquakes. when i was a kid, i suddenly woke up because i felt like my bed was shaking. then the last time i felt the shock was when i was in the office, i wasn't aware of it at first, but when i saw my officemates' reaction to what's happening, that's when i felt the shaking of the buiding.
