who to handle wife and mother?

currently, there is a misunderstanding between my wife and my mother. and i was dragged into it.
since i love both of them very much, how do i achieve a 'win-win' situation?

You should be truthful to both. Some times personal interest between mother and wife bring this kind of situation. You must judge the facts and accordingly handle the situation tactfully.

That's a no brainer to me. ALWAYS GO WITH YOUR WIFE , EVEN IF YOU THINK SHE IS WRONG. don't even think of doing other wise

Depending on the situation I would have to say this.....who do you have to live with?Who did you marry?How are you going to spend the rest of your life with?
I would have to say your mother needs to come second, but I am not sure what it was about.You have to be on your wifes side.Or tell them bother to forget about it and move on or you will have to be in the middle for a LONG time.
