I have actually had an abortion. I had it because I knew that I was unable to take care of the baby and that carrying the child would be more detrimental to me physically and mentally. I had it when the fetus was 1 month old. It was honestly a very painful procedure and I do not take it very lightly. It took a lot of thinking and consideration. I think it depends on the person's beliefs and situation. I am very pro-choice. But it still was an extremely difficult conclusion to come to. I do not agree that it killed my future. It actually saved my future. I don't know what I would have done if I carried the baby full term. I was suffering from severe depression and anxiety. I am okay now but it would have literally killed me to go through it. This was 3 years ago. I am currently pregnant now AND married. I have never been happier
