This is an interesting question to me. I believe I would stay at the age of 21. At this age you are considered an adult, and have all the privledges that come with it. Also my looks are probably at the best there going to be and I would like to keep them too. I could see someone choosing a younger age because they would have no worries, and just enjoy a care-free life. So what would you choose? What are the reasons you choose this age?

When we are a child we look forward to double figures, then to being a TEENAGER! When we become a teenager, we want to be the magical 21 and 30 seems old. As we advance through the years, each new decade looming ahead seems so ominous.
In my early thirties, I didn't like to think of becoming 40, but that passed almost without notice. Of course, my fifth son was born a few months before I turned 40 so maybe that was the reason.
Turning 50 was a ball! The youth group I was leading gave me a surprise golden birthday party and I really enjoyed it. As 60 loomed, it seemed ancient, but once again it passed almost without notice. However, I determined I would NEVER admit to being 70! Now, I just love being 70.
What age would I like to be?
Well, I have enjoyed a very full and rich life. I enjoyed the years when my sons were young and growing. I have a wonderful husband and have appreciated every moment of our life together. There is not one thing I would want to change in my life, so if it's all the same to you (and even if it isn't) I just keep going as I am.
My times are in God's hands and I am happy to leave them there. He has guided me, cared for me and undertaken for me for 48 years. I have His promises and His presence and I want for nothing.
Thanks for a good discussion.

Cloudwatcher, I appreciate the very informative post! Im glad to see you have no regrets as you take a look back on your life. I too hope I have the same outlook as you when I take a look back on my life in 20 or 30 years. I always wonder if life takes a turn for the worse in the later years, or if it becomes better than ever. I guess it depends on the person and what they are really expecting out of life. May you have many more years of happyness and I hope to have plenty more discussions with you here in the future.

Thanks Creed. You might notice that I didn't talk about my life until approaching 30. I do not have one single happy memory of my childhood. I was abused by my oldest sister, my father and two step fathers. I was told every day of my life, until 22 years old, that I was an ugly freak, whom no one would ever want, so I might as well do the world a favour and kill myself.
I mention this because of your comment. (It is one of the infuriating things about myLot that you can't see the comment when replying to it). No matter what happens in life, the right attitude is important. I can be thankful for every single thing that happened in my life because it helped to make me what I am today.
I trust that whether or not you have setbacks you will be able to have the same attitude. I wish you an abundance of blessings and I also look forward to further discussions.
