Filmfare Awards a Sham!

Y'day, the Filmfare Awards telecast on Sony TV were a Sham as the Awards distribution was not properly. Shahrukh was cracking his usual demented jokes, probing people's personal lifes & making fun out of it. Some of the best films like Rang De Basanti, Lage Raho Munna Bhai were sidelined very nicely. Its seems that the whole awards ceremony was to grace Mr. Bachchan's son & Hritik Roshan, who i personally think did not deserve the Best Actor award. There were better performances in better films by Actors like Aamir Khan, Sanjay Dutt etc. And Dhoom 2 did not have a proper storyline or the John Abraham charm of the original Dhoom movie. The only saving grace was the dance sequences, especially by the Queen of Hindi Cinema Sridevi herself & our Rani Mukherji. Its common knowledge that Awards are bought to further a person's career, i wonder is that the case here? Thats why Aamir Khan has boycotted These Awards long back. Cheers! SiFaR http://sifar.ueuo.com
