Is good to sleep as much as you need, if you need 10 hours and sleep 10, is fine.
Different people have different needs, so if one need 5 hours of sleep to recover, another one may need 10 hours to recover.
If you need 10 and sleep 5, then is bad...
This is main cause of a lot of problems, headaches, continuos tiredness,nervosity, but our beloved doctors send us to see a shrink, lol,instead of teach us to give the body what it need.
Most important thing is to sleep as much as you need and when you need.
Unfortunately this is almost impossible with modern lifestyle, wake up at a defined hour, sleep lees then you'd like to... but if you get a chance to take a month absolutely free you'll see your natural sleeping interval and what part of day is most prefered for sleep.
I naturally sleep over day and I'm in max shape during night, and nothing on earth can change this natural behaviour, not jobs, not even army, as soon I get some free days I return to my natural sleep times.
Lol,maybe I should relocate somewhere with 12 hours diff so day and nidgt cycle match my natural cycle.

I sleep when I need to, anywhere between four and ten hours, depending on when I need to.
