This year's Oscar show had some giggles, a few surprises and a vacuum cleaner thrown in for good measure. Usmagazine.com picked out our favorite moments and then happily offered up a few suggestion on how WE could have done it one been better.
Great Moment: Maggie Gyllenhaal looked beautiful as she was discussing all the scientific technical awards.
Woulda Been Better If: We could have just looked at her without having to hear about all the scientific technical awards. (Yawn)
Great Moment: Will Ferrell, Jack Black and John C. Reilly were hysterical in their musical challenge to fight all the best actor nominees. ("Ryan Gosling, you're all hip and now. But I'm going to break you're hip. Now.")
Woulda Been Better: If Jack Black actually beat Peter O'Toole over the head with his Nickelodeon Award.
Great Moment: Cute interplay with George Lucas, Francis Ford Coppola and Steven Spielberg.
Woulda Been Better If: They had made a Three Tenors joke.
Great Moment: Everything Ellen DeGeneres said ("If it weren't for blacks, Jews and gays, there's be no Oscars. And nobody named Oscar, for that matter.")
Woulda Been Better If: She could have fit in a least one Oprah/Uma joke.
Great Moment: Beyonce’s tears of joy over Jennifer Hudson’s Best Supporting Actress Win.
Woulda Been Better If: The tears were actually real.
