how would you know if a guy is sincere when he says "i love you"?

When a guy you newly met said that he loves you...that's b*llshit! How can you love someone if you don't even know that person well. When my bf and I started to date...we never said I love you unless we mean it. Of course we totally liked each other but love??? I don't think so! I believe he told me he loved me after a week(hehe...still too soon huh?) and I was speechless. I really felt his sincerity when he uttered those 3 words even if it was just on the phone. I didn't respond I love you back since I don't feel that way yet.

I guess love cannot be uttered, but it is expressed. By the things that we do to our partners, the carings that we give for them, the moments that we share with them, and the feelings that we have for them. For me, the word 'I love you' has a lot of meaning, it can be for friendship, for peace of mind, for trust, for betrayal and for saying goodbye. I think we can never really be sure about it, we just have to stay true and believe to what our partners have said it to us. We should hope that when they ssay it, they would really do mean it..

Hello there Abi!! Yup i do agree that these words can be uttered easily, but for a man to tell me that he loves me is seen in his eyes and in his actions... it's true that he needs to know me first before he'd confess or else it would be a lie.
