Stop? or go for it?

my ex-bestfriend who nearly became my girlfriend was inviting me to watch movies this weekend. The problem is, my current girlfriend may oppose or may feel betrayed by it. but the deal was finished, we go to movies, with exact details on time, place, and day... wow. it will destroy my reputation to my ex-bestfriend if i won't come. if i come, i will feel guilty. I am on dilemna now. anyone of help?
