Forgiving!

does forgiving mean forgetting ??

i don't think so..when you forgive, you acknowledge the mistake of the person who wronged you and still accept that person, giving him another chance to make things right. but even if you forgive, you tend to not forget because probably it has impacted your life very much and it became one of your bad memories, but that doesn't mean you're still mad at the person who made that mistake.

not really,it is according to the situation and according to the persone that you are dealing with,but sometimes you are forced to pretend that you forgot to let the life continue normally without a tension

I find it hard to both forgive and forget. Even when we forgive, human nature often will not let us forget. In my opinon we should forgive and clear the air, but it is so much harder to forget.

No. It means to let whatever someone did to you go. Not to hold it against them. But you should remeber it so that if it continue to happen, they need to do something drastic to change their behavior.

its similar .. how.! when someone makes mistakes with .. and you forget that mistake ... then it is forgiving .... :)

I think its hard to forgive and harder to forget, but we should strive to forgive :)

I think the forgiving part is easy. The forgetting part is not. If you decided to forgive it is always hard to trust again. There will always be doubts, you will always remember the thing that hurt you no matter how hard you try to put it at the back of your mind. When we are hurt we can never really heal completely.
