What does your partner think of you using Mylot?

Are they ok with you using mylot for talking to people/having discussions or do they think that you should get out more? Or perhaps they are members aswell? My husband is indifferent in this matter and wants to know what I'll get out of it, I told him I'm still new to Mylot and am learning which discussions work and responding is fun, making friends and earning alittle cash as a bonus. But what about you guys?

It is a good way to meet new people and it doesn't affect your boyfriend

i have only been here a short time too and I enjoy answering and helping out people with there discussions. My husband doesn't say a whole lot since I am on here alot anyway. Don't care to watch tv all of the time like he does. I haven't met to many new freinds yet but working on it. Just have fun and enjoy.

Mine doesn't mind at all. He's used to me spending a fair bit of time most evening chatting away on forums, so i guess if anything he's pleased i've found a forum i might just make a few extra pennies on! He's a member himself, but hasn't posted much as i don't think he's as much of a chatter as i am.

I guess my husband is a bit of a worrier. He worries that I will tell the whole world all of our personal business. He worries that I will meet some fascinating, dashing man and run off into the cyber-sunset! He worries that I will spend all of our money on some get-rich-quick scheme. I've gotten pretty good at ignoring all of his worries, though. I used to try and reassure him that it is healthy for me to be able to chat with others about topics that I am interested in but only make his eyes glaze over with boredom. I only recently joined Mylot and it is great for me! It's like a cornucopia of thoughts. I really like reading other people's opinions on such an infinite range of topics - he doesn't even want to hear about it. I haven't even mentioned to him that there is money to be made here because he would only laugh at the small amounts. Bottomline, he doesn't understand my need to think and share with others and I'm not going to spoil things for myself by trying to convert him. He has his cable TV and I have MyLot!

Mine worried alittle until I explained to him that I'm highly unlikely to give away our personal info and run away with someone who replies to a discussion, when I have him!! LOL

My partner did join MyLot but only ever answered one question. He doesn't really have opinions about a ot of things and I don't think he could be bothered with it all, he'd rather play computer games by himself. I don't think he's got a problem with me coming on here. Although, if I'm on and he's just come home or something, he'll hover around over me until I get off the computer. He knows I can earn a little bit of money from this but I think he thinks it's not worth it. A lot of the time, he'll spend 8 hours some days playing games while I could have spent some of the time doing something worthwhile. So basically, as long as he's not home, he doesn't care what I do.

My fiancé doesn't have any problems with me being on myLot at all, it would actually be hard for him to complain about it after he was the one that introduced/told me about it as he was joined up before I did. I don't see why anyone would really have a problem with their partner being on myLot unless it was starting to have a negative impact on their relationship.

I agree with you it shouldn't be a problem unless it was causing relationahip problems, but you have a good excuse though, as your fiance introduced you:)
