I gave up my teaching career for a call center job since September last year. Yeah, at first I had a hard time changing my body clock and any other sorts of adjustments. But later on, I learned to manage my time and love my work. Am now almost 6 months here and so far, everything has been doing great. True, you get to receive nice compensation packages and a greater chance for personal and professional growth. In your case, you have to listen to your gut feelings, if you think even just 50% of you is decided for that job, then go on... you won't really know what it is like to work in a call center if you won't try it yourself... :)

I would recommend taling the job. Do keep in mind that some call center positions may have a high turn over rate but as long as you are doing what you are supposed to do then you should have nothing to worry about. Sometimes the call center job could lead to something much better such as a position in management.
