nayyara fell into music by a fluke.in early 1970s she was doing diploma in textile designing from national college of arts in pakistan. she used to sing at college and won prizes also. the she introduced herself to relevant persons in pakistani people.rafiq waraij had been affiliated by her talent and gave her chance sing . in mid 70s she recorded many songs and ghazlas for arshad mehmood for pakistani television 'such gup' and 'taal matol'. she sang 'ai jazba dil gar mein chahoon' for serial sukhanwar,composed by master mansoor hussain and poet was behzad lukhnawi. jazba e dil sent nayyara in stratosphere. she is sober, reserved and shy in nature. the song 'ghata ghanghor' originally sang by khuseed banu for indian film 'taan sain'. add ur information.
