I think anytime you visit places that have so much history there is a sense of magic about it.

Like my avatar and my nick says I´m a Scotland fan, so I think that Scotland it´s a mythic place where I love to visit.

I live in the north of England so I am not that far from scotland. However I have not been there but it looks lovely. They have beautiful countryside and lots of old castles. I have always wanted to vist loch ness to see if I could see the monster. I hope you get to visit soon.

Oh it must be mistic. And full of unrest and ghosts and fairies and wonderful tales and people that speak the way they do.
The people for years have lost so much and are still not really their own country.I mean they are under English rule not Scots.
The jacobite risings, for instance, and how sad that so many of their strong people had to denounce their tartans and swear to the English throne and lost their lands and couldn't even stay on the soil they loved.
I sometimes feel that what happened to the Scots is in some ways like what happened in USA with the first Americans, the indians. And the Scots(highlanders) were like the Indians in that they were considered savage like.
Anyway with all the bloodshed and grief that that ancient ground has absorbed it would have to be mystic, don't you think?
