Did you pick out your own Engagements Ring or Wedding Ring? If not, did you tell hubby what you wanted? Was it a total surpise? What does it look like?

I chose my wife's engagement ring.... I suppose this should have been a tip off to me about her personality, but it wasn't good enough and I had to buy her a second one later. LOL

awww...thats unfortunate! I was given a very nice ring when my hubby proposed to me..I believe I was 19 at the time. When it came time for us to get married...6 years later...my hubby bought me a new engagment ring. When I asked him why...he told me that he didn't want to start the marriage off with a 6 year old ring (I think he thought it was bad luck or something..lol) So needless to say, I got a new engagment ring as well as wedding band!!! :) Yippee!
