Smoking Ban

Am i the only person getting fed up with being told what I can and can't do. In a couple of weeks time my home town Cardiff is inflicting a smoking ban. This means that my self employed partner who works as a taxi driver will no longer be able to smoke in our own private car, even on days off as it is both taxi and home use car. Even a Doctor has told us you do not have passive smoke problems whilst in a car. We will be unable to go to any pub, club, office and enjoy a relaxing drink. Why can't we have a choice? why can't there be smoking and non smoking pubs, clubs, offices etc. I have no problem with people not wanting to be around smokers but why punish the smokers. We pay enough tax! Why should local Pubs and Clubs go bankcrupt over this. Is there anybody out there who feels the same?
