when dumbledore and harry went to the cave to retrive the horcrux it was already destroyed by someone and kept the note with P.S as RAB

I too agree with vishwateja . Snape can still be on the good side . But the Unbreakable Vow he made just confuses me . R.A.B is someone really powerful on the good side . He will help harry to reach the Dark Lord .

i bet it is regulus alphard black. black's brother and the horcrux is the necklace in order of phoenix. which is found while cleaning grimauld palace

No idea at all who RAB could be.... but I like the suggestion that RAB is Black's brother.... it certainly makes sense, the initials fit and everything.

I think HP lexicon has mentioned it already. This is not actually a spoiler. They removed it before book 6 was released. R.A.B. stands for Regulus Arcturus Black, the brother of Sirius Black. And i have idea that the locket is the Black house not yet opened but noticed by Harry while cleaning the house.
