I am 60 years old. Retired from my job.My husband died 1 year ago.My children are self established and live in different cities.I am alone in my home except during vacations when my children visits me.Everyday about 4 hours I spent watching movies. It helps me to get some relief from my lonely life so try it.

When my boyfriend and I had a HUGE fight and I thought it was going to be the end of our relationship, I spent the entire week watching movies. It was the only thing I could do to keep my mind occupied with something else. I was alone most of that week and it took me some where else. Away from my life. Of course at that time I stayed away from the romantic comedies. But just about anything else was game. So I totally understand where you are coming from.
