Don't laugh, I'm being serious - England! Having been completely abysmal for 4 months in Australia, they have come into form, with a victory over New Zealand (in our group, and our opening fixture) and 3 consecutive wins over Australia (the Bookies favourites). The injuries are behind us, confidence is up, and the team has found a balance. With Andy 'Freddie' Flintoff at the full, we have a player who can win any game single handed, with both bat and ball. We also have KP, who when it goes right, will score so quickly that he can set an unattainable target. Monty Panesar is just the type of spinner for the 1 day game, attacking, He may not be as good as Murali, but can give a good 10 overs any day. Whatever happens, with the relative equality of talent across 5 or 6 nations, it's gauranteed to be a great World Cup, and I wish India, Pakistan & Sri Lanka all the best, though I do predict an England/Australia final.
