I think we are given too many things and too many comforts of life more than we require. Therefore we fight a lot and there is hate and selfishness. If a man is really hungry he will go in search of food to feed his stomach, he wont waste time in fighting and being selfish. Once all the necessities are fulfilled we get bored of a routine life and we start fighting. What do you say?

It is the animal instinct in people... man just needs dominance over others. :(

For the most of us here we do have too much. We are a very wasteful nation. We have every thing we could possibly want but it is not enough. We are constantly being told that we need more and we believe it. We can get what we want very easy. We don't have to work as hard as our ancester did, because of all the machinery that does the hard work. So we become a fat nation that is never satisfied. And you are right we do become bored. The next question is what to do about it. I don't know.

Must be a blessed hour when this thought crossed your mind. They say only a man thirsty in the desert can appreciate the true importance of water.A person in the midst of wars can understand the true value of peace.A colonised nation can recognise the essence of freedom.Yes,indeed,we get too much too easily. There 'is' afterall a hint of freelunch and that's when we disregard what could have been and ignore what we have. Our primary focus is to search for issues and hype them.If only we would lose what we have ,can we understand how blessed we are.As they say,a man who hasn't been in dark will never see the light.
