Yes it saves from fatal life injuries, somedays back my friends brother met with an accident but because of helmet he is alive, similarly my father was accident prone and many a times he was saved as he was wearing a helmet.

It has already been shown that it does save lives.Unfortunatley two many people have the attitude it can't happen to them and end seriously hurt-or worse.I would rather have to put up with the inconvience of wearing a helmet then get seriously hurt or lose my life.Life is too prescious to be leaving it up to chance.
