I thought it would be nice to see where everyone is from. I am in Oklahoma USA. It is nice here today spring has finally shown itself with the warmer winds and leaves budding out. My flower gardens are waking from their sleep and the sky is so clear and nice. Yes it is a tad bit cool but hopefully not for long. I cannot wait till the soft rains come. We have tornados here they are not fun but usually start when the air warms more. Tell me about your region of the world. Share a picture if you can.

I live in Oklahoma also, in the far northeastern corner, do you know where Wyandotte or Miami is, well, I am just about smack dab between them. And it is beautiful outside it is about 52 degrees and sunny. I just hope it lasts through the weekend, my daughters birthday is this coming Saturday, and I mam hoping for nice weather for her big day.

Yes I was raised in Carthage Mo. I hope you have great weather for her birthday. I just got thru with my daughters sweet 16 party I thought I would never make it thru it LOL. How old is she? I am south and east of OKC in the sticks. It is nice here most the snow and ice missed us. Did you lose power up there? Wee did not but others by us did. This winter has been hard I have lived here for about 20 years and the last bad one I remember was 87 I think. Hope her party goes well...

I am from Puerto Rico but live in Southern California. Puerto Rico is the tropics where it rains a lot; Southern California has a desert type of climate where it hardly rains. Southern California hardly ever gets very cold. The coldest night so far was 27 degrees F. Last week we had two days with weather in the 80's.

80 sounds nice it is about 60 here today but the nights are not very cold. Soon it will be hot here as we are almost like a desert at times. Spring is really nice here and I planted my tomatoes yesterday. I always plant my garden in February and by April we are eating out of it.

i am in INDIANA,an its cold here but the sun is shining,but not for long we have more snow an rain on the way.i cant wait till spring so i can get started working an building a new flower bed an i can see all the humming birds..

I always have something blooming as the hummingbirds wear themselves out here. They seem to like the morning glories and such I planted castor beans last year to keep the moles at bay and they liked the red flowers on them too. I had one castor bean get to 14 ft tall it was so pretty and the leaves were huge. I have many flower beds and always have one or the other blooming all year till frost.

I also currently reside in Oklahoma (stillwater area), and am excited about the spring weather we have recently had. I am however, not looking forward to the horrible summer heat. I hope spring stays a little longer this year, it seems like last year we just jumped into the heat (of course it could've just seemed that way to me I was preggers).

I am south and east of OKC it gets really hot here in Aug and Sept but it seemed to just get hot last year to me too. Not much of a spring. I love the climate here moved here from Mo and fell in love with the wild and changing weather here. I like the hot and warm not much on cold so far only had 2 or 3 bad winters here. My daughter hates the cold. I like the warm nice days we have here even in winter. Hope your day is wonderful...Thanks for replying

Wow! you have flower gardens there already!!!??? I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada. We're just above the state of North Dakota. It takes us 8 hours to drive to Minneapolis. So we're pretty far up here. It's very snowy here. I am currently building a snow fort in my backyard (yes I AM an adult but you need to have fun with snow otherwise you will go crazy). It's not that cold here, and it's sunny, so all in all a nice day. I actually love the snow.

I love the snow too but we do not get much here it is close to texas and most of the time we have short sleeve weather. This year it has been colder than usual but yes my flowers are almost in bloom and the roses are putting on their leaves my flowering bushes are about to bloom and I have the doors open today as the weather is nice.A fort that sounds fun.

Oh the mountains how beautiful that sounds. I live in a mountain range but they are not very pretty Mostly rocks and red dirt. I bet you have some pretty scenery there. How long till your spring comes?
