Amazing that it has won! I already hoped so and now it did, fantastic. This was at anytime this year to me the best movie I've seen, so it definitely deserves it, unlucky for the best actor, king of schotland was a difficult one to win from, but hell yeah, 2 oscars, amazing, scorcece finally!

I'm really happy that the departed won best picture. It's a great movie and not your typical oscar winner so it's nice to see something different winning for a change. It was also great to see scorsese win best director. he's had an amazing career and made lots of great movies. It was beginning to look like the first oscar he would win would be a lifetime achievement award! Thankfully that was rectified last night.

I didn't watch the awards, but when I heard today I was happy because I thought it was the best movie I had seen in a long, long time. I went to see it with my boyfriend, and he didn't like it. I was shocked. I guess now I can rub this in his face. Haha.
