What was your first thought this morning?

What was the first thing you thought about when you woke up in the morning? was it related to work?...school?....family?....Why don't we exchange some thoughts?

My first thought was I wonder if my kid's school would be late or canceled. I climbed out of bed to turn on the tv and found it was a late start.

What do you mean by "late or canceled"? is it the snow? because i'he heard on the news that there is a big problem in the US concerning snow... but i really don't know too many details.

If school would be a late start or canceled due to the snow. If there is a lot of snow or ice they will either start school late or cancel it all together. We got 8 inches on Saturday and lots of wind and only a little snow on Sunday. So they were able to have school but waited until the roads were cleared one more time that day.

Normally when I wake in the mornings I would think how good it was to be able to stay in bed and get up whenever I felt like it. This morning was different. My daughter stayed overnight, as my two grandchildren were ill and they couldn't travel the long journey home. I just knew I would have to get up and prepare breakfast as my daughter will not lift a hand to help once I am around. I dreaded the day as I knew I would be run off my feet. Now utterly exhausted I have finally got some time to myself to relax. They all headed off home just an hour ago after spending the whole day here. I didn't really mean to rant, but you asked. Lol!

my first thought was do I really have to get up (4:30 am) and get ready for work. then it was oops I have to let the dog out..:)

Quickly assess what I need to do today. Get ready to go to work. I am the only one up in the morning, so I actually enjoy my quiet time.

My first thought was, "that is one of the most interesting and mind-boggling dreams I have had in a really long time, and I need to go find what it means." My next thought was, "oh god, it's cold in here."

i think of how cold it is especially when i'm too sleepy to get out of bed...i just take one hand out of the blanket and test the room temperature...the same conclusion: "damn,it's cold" :)

my first thought when i woke up this morning had to do with family.. i have a new born.. just 3 weeks old.. my husband went back to work today.. and the first thing i thought this morning was... i hope its not to cold out to bring my daughter out.. so that i could take my son to school.. that was my first thought this morning..
