There are a few things that I know will help if you do them. Make him use the bathroom before going to bed, wake him up before you go to bed to use the bathroom, (if need be) set an alarm in the early morning hours to get him up to use the bathroom, and do not allow him to drink anything for at least an hour before bed.

No, chastising him and making him feel bad about it just makes itworse. Some children just dont stop wetting the bed until puberty. Its not his fault, his bladder is not matured yet. My oldest grandson has finally stopped at the age of 11. And my daughter even tried the medication and the mechanical alarm to no avail. just have patience. he will stop in time. They do make disposable diabers for children like him however, and if you make him wear these, you won't have to deal with washing his bedding every day.
