Since I'm adopted, I think every life is precious and that everyone should have a chance to have a child of there own. With that being said, should we help those who aren't able to have children of there own by donating our own eggs to help them?

There are a lot of issues with ovum donation. If you are considering this, please think and learn carefully.
1) after you sign the papers, and agree, you will be pumped full of hormones in order to produce the "perfect" eggs.
2) No one really knows the long term affects of these hormones.
3) You do not just donate or sell one egg, they willl havest money. You are donating perhaps, but to the facilities that do this, it is a business, and they will gather many eggs.
4) The gathering of these eggs may lead to early menopause.
You are adopted, you must know that parents love a child regardless if they have given birth to it. There are many children who need parents, they do not have to have the chance to "have one of thier own."

As if an early menopause would be a bad thing. I'm 25 and I am done having kids. Menopause means no period anymore! Bring on the mood wings and hot flashes!

Donating eggs isn't for everyone. It is a pretty complex procedure, and some people have emotional issues with the possibility of a child being created with their genetics. But for those who can do it, I think it's a wonderful thing. I plan to look into it when I'm 21.

Having read Brihanna's response (which was very enlightening!) I have to admit, I think I do not ever want to donate eggs! If there are women out there who don't mind the possible side effects, then I am happy for them and for the recipients, but I believe there are enough babies and children in the world who need loving parents, without having to create new ones especially with a procedure that is still flawed in many ways. So I think anyone who cannot have a child, should seriously consider adoption instead! I am sure if the procedures for ovum donation, harvesting etc were more humane, dignified and less risky, than it sounds now, I would feel differently, and especially if there were no unwanted babies in need of parents.
